Oak Glen Engagement Photography: Sean loves Angela

Sean thought Angela was really cute and she had a crush on him, but high school would end without a true romance beginning. It would take six years before they would rekindle their friendship and start dating. They both knew the other was the one. Sean was unlike anyone Angela had ever dated. He looked at her and made her laugh. He was always up for an adventure. Sean knew that she would be the perfect mom one day for.. as he put it…his, “hell raisers.” Neither could picture their life without the other. So while camping in the Palomar mountains. on Thanksgiving Weekend, Sean had a plan of being alone with Angela. Yet for as remote as they were, people found their way to their campsite. Finally, after some distractions and questions on fishing, Sean got down on on knee and asked the question and Angela would happily say, “Yes,” to the man who made her smile and laugh.

Oak Glen Engagement Photography- Nicolas loves Robin

They were hanging out with their own group of friends at Roscoe’s in downtown Fullerton, when one of Nicolas’ friends pushed him towards Robin. They hit it off, exchanged numbers and then… Nicolas lost his phone. Robin was about to give up on him, when his call came through four days later.

Nicolas made it up to her taking Robin on their first date to Newport Beach where they rode bikes, went kayaking, and grabbed some beers at Sharkeez. There, they found out they had the same favorite beer.. Sam Adams, Boston Lager! They ended with Dinner at Wood Ranch.

Robin really did not want a boyfriend, but she soon found that she could not stay away. Nicolas was so much fun to be around, outdoorsy, and always made her laugh. She knew within the first weeks she had found a game changer.

Nicolas original plans for proposing changed when Robin had begun to figure out his plans, so the engagement came sooner. They and another couple went on a hike in Aliso Woods Canyon. They hiked to the “Rim of the World,” overlooking all of Laguna Beach and the ocean. There with the beautiful view, Robin began snacking on a granola bar while the other couple took pictures. While Nicolas and Robin posed, her face stuffed with a granola bar, Nick dropped down on one knee and completely shocked her. It was the most perfect proposal Robin could have asked for.

Oak Glen Engagement- Miguel loves Mariela

The excitement from La Arrolladora Banda Limón Concert filled the air. Miguel was celebrating his birthday. Little did he know that he was about to receive the most amazing present. He was about to meet Mariela, the woman who would immediately capture his heart. Mariela had heard about Miguel from mutual friends who believed they would be perfect for each other. Miguel and Mariela soon realized they complimented each other perfectly. Where he brought calm, she brought excitement. Their morals and values…their love for their families were equal. So what had begun at one birthday celebration would continue at another. Miguel took Mariela to the Queen Mary for dinner. It was her birthday. He insisted they look through the telescope. Miguel searched and searched for what he wanted Mariela to see. She grew impatient. She had no idea what he could be looking for that could be so important. Suddenly, he found it. Mariela looked. There in the distance, brought closer to view in the telescope was the Light House in Long Beach. The words, “Mariela, will you marry me?” were lit on it. Mariela turned from the telescope to find Miguel on one knee holding a ring. She said, “Yes.”

Oak Glen Engagement: Armando loves Rocio

Armando and Rocio met because two other people had fallen in love. Rocio’s uncle married Armando’s aunt. (No they are not cousins…think about it.) They were children who played together at family functions. They were teased because they were the same age and looked cute side by side and so they would run away from each other, the moment someone said they would end up together. Fast forward to their senior year in high school. Armando’s eye had been bothering him.(Hmmm..probably from straining his eyes pretending not to look at Rocio.) Rocio, who somehow had gotten his number, texted him and asked him how he was feeling. Armando immediately felt better and suddenly what their families had always known and seen was coming true. They had ended up together.. and it would be forever.
