Pasadena City Hall Engagement: Julio loves Meryssa

Julio stood on the rim of a Hawaiian Volcano with Meryssa by his side. Ten years ago, they had been kids who had met on a soccer field at their high school. Now, they were surrounded by the awe-inspiring beauty of nature. They were not just best friends and partners, but Kindred Spirits.

Julio was the man Meryssa had prayed for. She wanted a love as powerful as the one her parents had. From the first moment, she noticed he was charming, funny, and passionate. Soon, she would realize that he was also hardworking, selfless, and a romantic. He was always putting others before himself. He shared her love for adventures and Disney. He was her beast and she was his beauty. 🥀💛

Meryssa was the woman who always gave Julio unwavering support through every adventure and challenge they faced together. She was enchanting, adventurous, yet nurturing. Meryssa’s charm and grace captivated everyone around her, making every moment magical. She had the innate ability to bring warmth and comfort to those around her. She fearlessly embraced new experiences, making life an exhilarating journey.

In those moments of shared joy, mutual understanding, and deep connection, Julio knew Meryssa was the person he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. So with Waikiki and the world before them, Julio proposed, and Meryssa said, “Yes.” Forever begin on April 27, 2024

    Proposal Photography: Paulina said, “Yes!”

She thought her boyfriend was getting his headshots taken. Instead, José was on the phone with me, coming up with the best way to surprise Paulina. The plan was simple… take headshots. We really did, and then, of course, we needed an artistic shot. Paulina would turn her back, and we would take pictures of him playing the Bass Clarinet, and she would turn. She did, but my assistant had already taken his Bass Clarinet away, and he was instead on one knee proposing. Paulina said, “Yes!” Let the wedding planning begin!

Pasadena City Hall Engagement: Samuel loves Alicia

Neither had high expectations of finding anyone special. The online scene for Samuel had not gone well and Alicia was not looking. But friends had insisted that they meet. So, amid a pandemic, with face masks and the promise of having been vaccinated, Samuel and Alicia embarked on their first date.

Meaningful connections can transcend physical barriers and true love is based on the essence of a person’s character, their shared interests, and their unwavering values. Samuel and Alicia discovered this immediately.

Alicia saw a man who was genuine, and humble. Samuel had lost his wife and was a great father. She saw that he always thought of others before himself. He was the one who tugged at her heartstrings by simply being caring and she cherished him. He made her a better person and even laughed at her corny jokes.

They officially became a couple on Valentine’s Day at Disneyland, but the date that Alicia also treasures was when they went to Santa Monica Beach, and Samuel pulled her close to him, pulled down her mask, and kissed her.

It would be this spontaneity that Samuel would use to propose. God had blessed him with a loving partner for a second time. He asked, and of course, she said, “Yes.”

Chino Hills Wetlands Engagement: Rolando loves Isabel

They were awkward teenagers hanging out in the hallway before class. If anyone asked they were friends and they were, but both knew it could be more. They went on their first date to the movies, but their first kiss would be on the last day of junior year outside school.

Rolando would say that the first move was mutual, but Isabel knew it was her. He was nervous, but Isabel saw a guy who was quiet and seemed stoic on the outside and was actually hilarious, intelligent, and sweet. He was always supportive and encouraged Isabel to do what she wanted. He loved his family and her family and was always there when someone needed him.

Rolando knew that Isabel was the one for him. She was resilient, patient, and sincere. He proposed at the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles. They had been there years ago. He invited family and friends because he wanted to share with everyone the most important question he could ask. There, overlooking the City of Los Angeles, Isabel said, “Yes,” to the man she loved.

          Palm Springs Photography: Young Family

Six years ago, Anthony and Christena took their engagement pictures on the desert sands of Palm Springs. They returned with two beautiful children… Mae and Micah. Their kids played with rocks and ran while their parents continued their Love Story.
