Mission Inn Wedding Photography: Sasha and George

George waited for Sasha to touch his hand so he could turn and see her. When he did, the hugest smile spread across his face. The girl he had met eight years ago, the one who had become his friend, the one who had agreed to meet and catch up on that date that was not supposed to be a date was marrying him. Sasha smiled back and soon they were laughing and doing a secret handshake. Their wedding party joined them and the fun only continued.

Sasha had prayed for many years for God to send her a man who would accept her and her son. Her prayers were answered in abundance. George not only accepted them, but cherished and protected them. Today they would become a family.

At the altar of Saint Catherine of Alexandria, George and Sasha promised to love each other forever.

Mission Inn Engagement Proposal: Jered Bell loves Sabrina

Sabrina thought they were out celebrating his birthday. She had no idea Jered’s mom and aunt were out laying petals to form a rose heart in front of the doors of the St. Francis Chapel of the Mission Inn. Jered had told her it was a short cut to the restaurant. She turned the corner to see their family and friends waiting. She smiled at him. Jered took her to the middle of the heart, and declared to the world why he loved her. She was the woman who had stood my his side and made him strong. An injury had ended his NFL career, but Sabrina’s love had never ceased.

Jered dropped to one knee and asked the question of a life time. Sabrina said, “Yes,” and wiped her happy tears away. Family and friends surrounded them and congratulated them. Let the wedding planning begin!

Mission Inn Wedding: Michael and Johana

Beautiful bugambilia flowers adorned the balcony of the Mission Inn. It was on this balcony that Michael waited for his bride to approach. Johana tapped the shoulder of the man she loved, he turned to see her smiling. That smile would remain on her face the entire day.
Family had flown in from Honduras to witness Michael and Johana get married. Her grandmother had given her a special blessing and her father walked her into the St. Francis of Assisi Chapel. Before a golden altar, Michael and Johana vowed to love each other forever. Marlon Martinez led a beautiful ceremony incorporating Hispanic customs as the exchanging of arras, the placing of a lazo around them, and offering flowers to Mary.
Outside, in unique Mission Inn tradition, their guest threw rose petals. They entered The Grand Parisian Ballroom and danced on a cloud of smoke. The dancing would continue the entire night. It was while dancing where they had met and fallen in love, so their first night of husband and wife would be no different. Johana even changed in a cute dancing dress. Michael never left her side… and he never will.
