Rose Haven Heritage Garden, Temecula Engagement Photography: Arturo loves Vanessa

They were little kids hanging out at birthday parties. Her best friend from kindergarten was his distant cousin. So he was just a boy and she was just a girl…. then they started growing up. Now they were teenagers who exchanged glances and looked away. He was now the cute guy, and she was the girl with the pretty green eyes. They liked each other, but would not admit it. It would not be until they were young adults that Arturo finally asked Vanessa out.

That day, he drove from Victorville to LA for school, then to Highland to pick her up, back to LA for their date, back to Highland to drop her off and then home. (That’s over 300 miles.)

Their first date would be riding go karts, eating Thai Food, and the Griffith Observatory. He obviously wanted to spend the whole day with her. Perhaps that date would be the most memorable for Arturo. The girl he had fallen in love with had accepted to go out with him. It was no wonder that he recreated it 7 years later. Once again Arturo took Vanessa to those same places. There at the Griffith Observatory, he looked into the beautiful eyes of Vanessa and asked her to marry him. She was no longer a little girl or a teenager. She was the woman who loved him and said, “Yes!”

A picture captures a moment in life, a reason to remember, holding the ones we love, forever, in a story in time.

Los Serranos Country Club Wedding: Sean and Alina

Sean and Alina had a beautiful ceremony in the historic Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Los Angeles. It was built in 1887. Beautiful stained glass reflected on the floor as they participated in Mass. This was a family celebration. Their mothers were their witnesses as they vowed to love each other forever.

They exited the church, and their family joined them on the steps. Beautiful clouds filled the sky. The celebration then began at Los Serranos Country Club. White roses and green hills were the backdrop of their beautiful wedding day.

        Cal Poly Graduation Photography: Cynthia

Cynthia Hernández Mushfiq is graduating with a BA in Communications- Public Relations.

“I chose communication as my major because I was fascinated by how us, individuals communicate and share ideas, the major as well opens us to many career paths, and over all I wanted to become a better communicator in: speaking and writing.”

She is a first-generation college graduate! And as it says on her sash, “Para mis hermanos, padres y esposo.” Her graduation is not just for herself but for everyone who ever encouraged her. Her amazing, loving husband paid for her education. You must love a man who wants the woman by his side to pursue her dreams.

After graduation, Cynthia plans to look for a new job to help her grow in a career in Human Resources, Business Development, or Real Estate. However, nursing has been a thought heavy on her mind to pursue next possibly. She would love to be a pediatric RN. She loves working with kids.

Bonelli Park Engagement, San Dimas California: Sean loves Alina

Sean towers over Alina, a gentle giant ready to protect her. She is his fun size love and when she smiles, she lights up his world. They were far from fashionably dressed when they first met. It was an Ugly Sweater Christmas party. Alina was rocking a reindeer sweater and Sean had on a Santa Paws sweatshirt. And yet they were drawn to each other. Soon they were talking, having a few drinks and playing games. They partnered up in one and lost, but began winning each other’s hearts.
“Maybe it was the reindeers on my sweater staring at him throughout the party or my coyness that caught his attention. He definitely caught mine with his gentleness, patience and sweet looks towards me. I love Sean. He’s easy going, very caring and very strong! He protects me and shows me an abundance of love through his actions. He’s my safe space especially when his arms are around me! I love him so much!”

Sean had instantly vibed with Alina. That first night when they had teamed up and played games, she already felt like his partner. “There are so many reasons I love Alina, but if I had to narrow it down to three, these stand out the most. First, she’s always supported me in everything I’ve done, from getting through nursing school to building my career, and even backing me as a die-hard Los Angeles Rams fan. Second, I love how much she loves family. She’s very family oriented and genuinely loves my family. That kind of connection means everything to me. And lastly, it’s the constant love she gives me every single day. She doesn’t just tell me she loves me—she shows it in the way she listens, supports, and stands by me every single day. Somehow, even when I’m annoying her or giving her a hard time, she still loves me with the same patience and heart. It’s that kind of unconditional love that makes her so special.”

So, after 8 years of being best friends, Sean knew she had to be his forever. On Lanikai Beach, at sunrise, as they sunk in the soft sand, he knelt and asked Alina to marry him. Alina said, “Yes,” to her soulmate.
