Dressed in different shades of purple robes, Winona’s bridesmaids toasted her and played with balloons. Winona’s mom happily got her daughter dressed and hugged her tight. Across town, Chris anxiously waited for Winona.
Winona walked up to him and tapped him on the shoulder. Chris hesitated for a second and then turned to see his beautiful bride. Moments later, their wedding party walked in already celebrating their day.
Their ceremony began. Winona started walking up and stopped halfway to let her parents accompany her. Chris watched as Winona smiled as she made her way up the reflective aisle. There were Filipino traditions such as the veil and the cord. They were married by Chris’s childhood friend. And of course, beautiful vows where they both shed tears. They changed into Filipino Traditional Dress and their first dance was on a cloud. Their cake would be a tower of macrons… that were of course different shades of purple.
