The school librarian knew Jennifer would be perfect for her son Ben. The first thing Jennifer thought about Ben was that he was weird. And Ben noticed that Jennifer’s feet were small. Yes! This is not how Fairy Tale relationships start, but it allowed Jennifer to joke with Ben. She told him her feet had been bound at birth like lotus feet. Ben’s eye’s widened in surprise and filled with wonder and curiosity. At this point, Jennifer had to tell him she was just kidding. Ben now laughed and saw the beautiful woman who had made hime smile and laugh. Years later it’s still those big expressive eyes that she remembers and loves. “I sometimes refer to them as Ben’s ‘bedroom eyes.’ When I look into those eyes, I see everything I need to know…”
