Jennifer and Oscar thought they were having a boy. They would soon learn many times over that the little newborn girl they held in their arms would be one that would surprise them many times. Jennifer counted 15 birthdays in the future to see when her daughter’s Quinceañera would be. It landed on Saturday, March 18th, 2017. Alyssa Janelle will celebrate her 15th birthday in full Mexican tradition that is dear to her family on her actual birthday.
Alyssa is an old soul, a hippie kinda girl. She’s a free spirit. Most people think she’s shy, but instead she observes and contemplates. It is no wonder then that as a child, Alyssa gravitated towards senior citizens. She loved to hand out with the older people…grandparents. She liked to listen to their stories and hold conversations with them.
She loves photography, but she’d rather be behind the lens than in front of it. She has so much personality, but only lets it shine through in front of the people she feels most comfortable with and it is then that you see her big heart and see how caring she is.
