He always arrives early and helps me load the bags in the car. He stands on chairs and lies on the ground to get the best shot. He will carry a bride’s train, so it doesn’t get dirty. He is always polite and respectful to the bride, the bridesmaids and the parents, but will become, “One of the guys,” in a heartbeat. He will make a diffuser out of a white piece of paper he found on the ground and a rubber band. (True story, I was there.) He takes amazing images for me knowing that the words, “A Story in Time”, will be etched on them and in the memory of others.
Thank you Bill for all the above, but also thank you for the stories of your little girls, watching out for Silvia and I during the reception and our late night treks through a dark parking lot, putting up with my blank looks as you discuss technical matters, listening to Silvia and I ramble about girl stuff and for letting me make fun of your shirt, but most of all for your friendship and making every wedding we shoot together a blast!
JacobSounds like a cool guy.
JessieIn regards to your first paragraph, all wedding photographers do that.
