Castle Creek Wedding – Maricela and Kirk Jesse

She taught him how to snowboard, to love the speed and the exhilaration. He of course would love anything she loved. Mammoth almost got their wedding, but instead Castle Creek surrounded by green hills heard their vows.

Liz and Kevin’s Engagement Session – Diamond Bar

When Liz was a little girl, she had a crush on a little boy named Kevin. She would come home and chatter about him. It was no surprise to her mom, that years later, another Kevin had caught her heart. It didn’t happen right away. They had the same Spanish class in high school, but really didn’t talk. They eventually started texting and talking, but every time he mentioned spending time with her, Liz would stop talking to him. On the day, he was set to leave on a family vacation, Kevin finally confessed that he really liked her and wanted to take her on a date. He went to Hawaii and called her every day. (Okay… when a guy surrounded by beautiful beaches, Hula dancers and girls in bikinis, still calls you everyday he must love you!) Liz asked him to bring her back some sand. He did… in a cute little jar that Liz still has. Then finally their first date. It was Cinco de Mayo and they went to Game Works and saw a movie. It was perfect, except that Liz’s sister Liliana and her friend came along. (Okay…once again, a guy that keeps dating you after a first date with your sister must love you.)

Chris and Brittany’s Engagement at Condor’s Nest Ranch

She had pink hair, fish-net stockings and shorts. It was her first day in a new school. Her family had moved from Los Angeles to the Inland Empire and it was obvious no one was into the Punk thing. She was miserable. She wanted to leave. She passed two boys talking in the hall. “Did you see that girl?,” Chris asked his friend. “You should talk to her,” he answered. “I will if she comes back.” As destiny would have it, Brittany came back. Perhaps neither of them imagined that they were about to find love. Could they have imagined that they would never be apart? Could they have imagined during that first teenage conversation that Chris would one day ask, “Will you marry me?”

The Symbol of Love-The Rings!

The wedding ring, that most famous and instantly recognizable symbol of the joining of a man and a woman as husband and wife in the institution of marriage is always one of my favorite things to photograph. I love using my macro lens.

A picture captures a moment in life, a reason to remember, holding the ones we LOVE... FOREVER.. in a Story in Time.
