The music was blaring at Club Red when Marina caught Richard’s eye. He made his move, but Marina left with her girls saying that if he really wanted to talk to her, he would be there when she came back. She took her time, not expecting to see him there, but there he was. Little did she know that night that he would always be there, he would be the man she would love forever.
Hip Hop Concerts, USC and Raider Football Games and hanging out with friends would bring them closer together. Then came the cake… After just a few months of dating, Marina came with a birthday cake for Rich’s dad. Marina had never had the opportunity to meet him, but she had listened to Rich and knew what his dad meant to him and she wanted to cheer him up. Instead of mourning, they celebrated his life. Rich knew then she was the one.
The day Richard bought the ring, he called her parents and proposed that same day. He couldn’t wait until the weekend to come. So there in front of work, he asked. Marina said, “Yes,” to the man who she had once made wait to talk to her, but who now could not wait to marry her.
