Vanessa walked into the elegant bridal suite and found it filled with her wedding flowers. Her dress hung over the mirror, her future last name on the hangar. Today, she would become Mrs. Lugo. Her bridesmaids arrived as her mom and maid of honor were helping her with the veil. Outside, you could hear the ruckus of guys playing with the Red Vintage Roadster.
Ceremony time came, and Arturo saw Vanessa cross the bridge towards him. Their ceremony, held in a beautiful meadow clearing, had touches of Catholicism, including readings and flowers dedicated to Mary. Their first kiss as husband and wife was followed an epic boat ride around the lake as their family cheered and looked on. Vanessa and Arturo were married.

Their love story started with a dead fish and a melody. They were on a field trip to the Salton Sea. Nana went with the photography club and Nick with astronomy one. Nana was taking a video of a dead fish and Nick bumped into her holding the other half of it. They began talking and Nick learned that Nana listened. It would become one the simple things that Nick would love about Nana. He could go on to insanely long rants and completely random topics and Nana would listen. He had already noticed the Jordanian beauty at the apartment complex meeting during their first year at UCSD, but he did not know they were neighbors. In fact without knowing it, they had answered each other’s knocking through the wall.
Nana’s friends would knock on the wall and Nick’s apartment mates would as well. The first time and only time Nana knocked, she knocked a melody. Someone knew the melody and knocked the response. The night they met, Nana hummed the melody and they began laughing as they realized they had been on the other side of the wall.
They were no longer strangers with a wall separating them and so they began hanging out every day, exploring San Diego together. The first place they would ever travel together would be Sunset Cliffs. Nana hiked down in a dress and they sat there on the beach talking for hours. It would be all of these adventures together and deep personal conversations that made Nick know that Nana was the woman he wanted to spend the rest of his life with.
He took her to Mt. Soledad, the spot that overlooked all of San Diego with a high-up 360 degree view of the ocean, downtown, and all the neighboring communities. This is where they came when UCSD got tough. There above it all, Nick asked the woman he described as pure hearted, gorgeous and strong to marry him. Nana said yes to the man who she also described as pure hearted, intelligent and strong.

“Nobody can ever find love. It is love that looks after us. And if it finds us, there’s no way to escape. It doesn’t choose nor force someone to love. Love is indeed a destiny.”
Jim couldn’t understand how his friend had a girl like that. She was beautiful. He stood up to shake her hand. Kori was impressed. With a group of friends, they went on a trip to the desert and they just kept noticing each other. Jim noticed that she was, down to earth and Kori noticed that he didn’t mess around. Sigh! They were both with other people. But Love is patient and Love is kind. Kori and Jim were meant to be together. Love and Destiny would have their way.
