Mission Inn Wedding Photography: Noriega

Stacy and Richard had a beautiful wedding at the Mission Inn and their reception at a private residence. Their wedding had little touches of Disney’s Up… from their ring box that said Grape Soda to their cake topper of Ellie and Carl.

While Richard had beers with his guys, Stacy toasted with champagne. In the corridors of the Mission Inn, Stacy would walk up to Richard and hold his hand. He would turn to see the girl he had waited so long to marry.

Before family and friends in the Saint Francis Chapel, Stacy and Richard vowed to love each other forever. They exited and the doors of the chapel closed for a few seconds. They were alone, now as husband and wife.

The doors opened and guests streamed out holding rose petals that they threw in the air as Stacy and Richard shared another kiss.

Mission Inn Wedding Photography: Sasha and George

George waited for Sasha to touch his hand so he could turn and see her. When he did, the hugest smile spread across his face. The girl he had met eight years ago, the one who had become his friend, the one who had agreed to meet and catch up on that date that was not supposed to be a date was marrying him. Sasha smiled back and soon they were laughing and doing a secret handshake. Their wedding party joined them and the fun only continued.

Sasha had prayed for many years for God to send her a man who would accept her and her son. Her prayers were answered in abundance. George not only accepted them, but cherished and protected them. Today they would become a family.

At the altar of Saint Catherine of Alexandria, George and Sasha promised to love each other forever.

Life Arts Center of Riverside: Sweet 16 Photograph: Alice in Wonderland: Lizette

“When I used to read fairy-tales, I fancied that kind of thing never happened, and now here I am in the middle of one!”

And it was a fairy tale come true. Lizette’s cancelled Quinceañera due to Covid, became a beautiful Sweet 16 celebration. The theme was Alice in Wonderland. Her bedroom was decorated with characters from the book and her mom had beautiful Alice in Wonderland shoes and a bouquet specially made.

Lizette had a first look with her dad. He nervously waited for Lizette to touch his hand and to turn to see his little girl while Lizette’s mom and sister watched. They smiled, laughed and then emotions took over as they hugged. Lizette also had a very special photoshoot with her dog Coco, who smiled as she picked him up.

The solemnity of Mass included a reading by her father, thanks from her parents and a special blessing. Everyone that was accompanied her to church took a group photo with Lizette. A few photos with her friends and we went to celebrate to a beautifully decorated hall. Top hats, keys, cards, and tea cups were on every table along with blue flowers. The cake table was mesmerizing. It was a true Wonderland.

Mariachi played and a celebrity impersonator entertained during dinner.

Lizette danced with her dad to the song Sangre en mi Cuerpo, by Angela and Pedro Aguilar and she danced with her friends a waltz to Alice by Avril Lavigne.

      It was an amazing celebration.

Corona Wedding Photography: Kris and Heather

        “You’ve been on my mind
        I grow fonder every day
        Lose myself in time.”
        – Adele

Heather came into view and Kris wiped a tear. Half way down the aisle, Heather stopped and her father joined her. Heather kissed her mom as Kris wiped another tear. They joined arms and walked towards the altar. Moments later, they would be laughing and pointing to the bridesmaid that introduced them when retelling their love story to Father Hieu. Everyone laughed when Kris joked that he was waiting to kiss Heather for the first time. In a traditional Filipino Ceremony, Heather and Kris exchanged vows and rings. The Lazo that Heather’s parents had used was draped over them. They received the blessing from all of their sponsors and exited the church as husband and wife.
Soon they were laughing and messing around with their bridal party. At reception, Heather and Kris entered a packed hall. While their first dance was traditional, their parent dances were not. Heather did a ballroom dance with her dad and Kris showed off with his mom. Later, Heather would play the keyboard and sing the song One and Only by Adele.
“I’ve been here before. Every feeling, every word, I’ve imagined it all. You’ll never know if you never try
To forget the past and simply be mine. I dare you to let me be your, your one and only. I promise I’m worthy,
To hold in your arms. So come on and give me the chance, to prove I am the one who can walk that mile
        Until the end starts.”

The end of the night came too soon, but forever was theirs.

          Aviña Wedding- St. Catherine, Riverside

Modern love does not begin with a glance across the room looking into each other’s eyes. For Regina and Alejandro, love started in a chat room with a glance into each other’s thoughts. What started as a friendly conversation soon turned into a Love Story.
