Coco Palm Restaurant: Sweet 16: Alyssa

Alyssa’s family wanted her 16th birthday to be the ultimate celebration, rewarding her for all of her hard work. They celebrated at the beautiful Coco Palms amid palm trees and gorgeous white staircases.

Alyssa also took pictures before her celebration that were used for her entrance photo and guestbook. See her pre-session here.

Kellogg House Wedding/ Pomona: Shawn and Angela

July 14, 2022

In the beautiful historic Kellogg House Shawn and Angela got married. Angela wore a a sliver dress that matched the elegance of the venue. Angela is a stand up comedian. I’m sure many times she has made Shawn laugh, but instead Shawn eye’s filled with tears when he saw her walk up the aisle to him. Minutes later of course, her vows made him smile and laugh again. Before family and friends, Angela and Shawn promised to love each other forever.

Fox Theater Pomona: Shawn loves Angela

March 18, 2022

“If you offer just the slightest bit of kindness and consideration, you just might be led to everything you have ever freaking wanted in your entire freaking life you crazies!” – Esmarelda, the Queen of Pomona explaining Karmic Rewards, (A term she just made up,) and how she met the best guy ever!

So the saying, “Marry someone that makes you laugh!,” is a real thing. Especially, if you are marrying a stand up comic. Shawn is!

The marquee on the Fox Theater announced their upcoming wedding! We get to meet the McDonalds in June!

Besides being a very funny person, Angela is also a talented artist!

Pomona Downtown Engagement: Joey and Millie

November 27, 2020

Joey saw Millie on Facebook, and messaged her. Millie had a broken ankle and was student teaching. Her schedule was filled with classes and work. Her moments of free time consisted in coming home late, eating dinner and sleeping, waking up and doing it all over again. So she talked to the cute guy for a bit and ignored him for a month. Joey’s messages were left on read without a response.

Joey waited and his patience paid off. Finally during her Winter Break, Millie went out with him. Their first date would be in Downtown Pomona. They hit it off. But at the end of the date, Joey played it safe. It had taken a month to get her to go out with him so he told her, “It’s up to you when you want to go out again.” Millie’s response made him smile. She said, “How about next Friday?”

They would have two more Friday dates and since then, they have not gone more than a day without seeing each other. Millie had found a guy that listened to what she had to say and made her laugh. Joey had found the girl that made him strive to be the best version of himself for her, was just as funny and dorky as he was and that showed him the importance of family.

So on a birthday lunch in San Diego, Joey ask Millie to be his forever. This time it didn’t take a month for her to say, “Yes!”

Family Photography: The Young’s

August 21, 2020

He was dressed like a Firefighter, the first time Christena saw him. She thought he was cocky. He was a senior and she was a freshman. He didn’t notice her. Years later, he would see her pictures on Instagram and he knew he had to meet her. I’m sure, at that first date, they never imagined that years later they would be happily married, parents to an adorable baby boy and expecting a daughter. At their wedding, it was a PARTY! Their bridal party was doing a sing off. Now, these two sing to their son Micah. My husband and I still might have the tune in our heads…

???? “Chunky baby boy!” ????
