Leah shared positive energy as she greeted each Quinceañera we passed at Pasadena City Hall. Sincere compliments, no hidden agenda. Just a reflection of who she is, but her mom says it best.
“Leah is beautiful, outgoing, and creative. She has a big personality and definitely knows how to make an entrance! Like any teenager, she can be a little moody sometimes, but underneath it all, she has a kind, loving heart. She cares deeply about the people she loves, and that’s one of the things that makes her so special.
One thing Leah really enjoys is playing volleyball. She also loves doing her makeup and expressing her creativity through beauty and style. She’s always finding little ways to show her personality and make things her own.
Leah is the kind of girl who is beautiful inside and out. Watching her grow into the young woman she is becoming has been such a joy. She may give us a little attitude every now and then, but she has a heart of gold, and I couldn’t be prouder of her.”

Dalia is described by her mom as thoughtful, caring, hardworking, and resilient. She is graduating from Eleanor Roosevelt High School in Eastvale. The classes she loved show her artistic talent: ceramics and photography. But she also enjoyed learning new concepts about real-life scenarios in Financial Algebra. She pushed herself to take AP classes and has been on the Honor Roll every year, even though learning doesn’t come easily to her. She plays drums in a garage band named “Bewitched.” They won 1st place in Battle of the Bands their junior year and 2nd place their senior year.
Dalila was the historian in a Women’s Empowerment Club. She played Softball even after breaking her leg her Sophomore year and continued her Junior year. She made really good friends that will probably last a lifetime, and an amazing boyfriend named Niko. Post high school, she will attend Long Beach Community College to study fashion styling. She’s also taking a trip to Europe with one of her best friends named Lana, in the summer.

Isabella is beautiful, but so much of that beauty radiates from within. It is her empathy and compassion that draw the admiration of so many people. It is no surprise that with her high levels of gratitude, compassion, and tenacity, she wishes to pursue a career in clinical social work. As her mom states, “Her special character of courage, kindness, and responsibility comes through when a situation gets tough.”
Beyond her caring heart, Isabella is also a gifted dancer and cheerleader. And when the world grows quiet, you’ll often find her lost in the pages of a good book.
Isabella is celebrating her Sweet 16th Birthday soon. “Mom and Dad are so proud of the young woman she’s becoming, witnessing her intellectual change and growth. Bri walked into the store, Pac Sun, with the intent of shopping. She did not know it then, but the cute guy working there would capture her heart. Edgar had noticed her the moment she walked in. “I thought she was the most amazing woman ever, and her eyes and smile made me fall in love with her.”
Brianna bought a shirt, but then… she had to return it. Of course, it was her intention to see Edgar again. He was thrilled to see her again. They talked, and Brianna gave him her number. It didn’t take long for Edgar to invite her out. They went to the Loop and had handcrafted churros, laughter, and conversation. They both left wanting to see the other again. It would be the first date of many.
If her eyes and smile had captured his attention, he was now captivated. Brianna was compassionate, super intelligent, and beautiful. And Brianna could see that Edgar was loving, thoughtful, and selfless. “I knew I was falling in love when all I wanted to do was talk to him and hear about his day.”
“Bri was the person who ever loved me for who I am, and she constantly made me feel loved and supported me in any adventure I wanted to do for my future. Her willingness to help others without a reward or anything. She is the most generous woman, and she continues to amaze me in any given moment that she tries to help others, especially her family.”
Edgar knew he always wanted her by his side. So at A Thousand Steps in Laguna, Edgar took his graduation pictures. Brianna had her back turned when Edgar went on one knee. Brianna turned and he proposed to the love of his life.

Randy’s sister invited Stephanie to dinner, and there he was, the man she would fall in love with. For Stephanie, it was an instant attraction. She made jokes and flirted, but Randy was in another headspace. His father’s recent death had left him feeling lost, confused, and emotionally unmoored. He wasn’t looking for love. He didn’t even know he needed it. “But then came Stephanie. From the beginning, there was something grounding about her presence. She brought a calm into my chaos, a lightness into my heaviness. She became the steady I didn’t know I was searching for.”
Stephanie made every excuse to stay in touch with Randy. She saw that he was smart, loving, kindhearted, and noble. They were now friends, and she was in love. “I fell in love. He treats me with respect and makes me feel like his queen. The way he looks at me with such pureness, no evil, no bad intentions…”
Randy accepted in his heart that Stephanie was not only meant to be his best friend, but his girlfriend. On the Long Beach Pier, with a beautiful full moon reflecting down on the water, it was made official. They were not just best friends, but a couple. Randy felt whole again. Stephanie was by his side, supporting him, and he was there for her. “Every time I was down, she lifted me. And when life hit her hard, I did the same. That became our rhythm: always there for each other, no matter what.”
Stephanie had not just hoped or wished for Randy… she had prayed for him. This would always amaze him. “She prayed for it. For us. For our future. Our love story isn’t flashy or fairytale-perfect. It’s better. It’s real, rooted in prayer, partnership, and a love that keeps choosing each other—over and over again.”
Of course, in these beautiful love stories, there is always a lie. It is meant to distract from what is about to happen. Randy told Stephanie that he had reservations at a rooftop restaurant in Harbor Island at sunset. As they walked alongside yachts, they came across a path with rose petals, and a heart of roses with the wordrs, “Will you Marry me?, and a photographer waiting. Randy pointed it out and said, “Look babe someone’s proposing.” Stephanie felt excitement, but for someone else. She responded with a happy, “Awhhh! Let’s go watch!” As they got closer, Randy said, “That’s for you!” Stephanie wasn’t sure she had heard right. Randy repeated, “Babe I need you to get ready because all this is for you.”
Yes, the proposal was for Stephanie. The love she had prayed for was hers. The man she loved got on one knee and asked her to be his companion forever. Stepanie, of course, said, “Yes!”
