Pasadena City Hall Engagement: Richard loves Delia

They met at work… even though they really didn’t work together. Delia kept snacks handy for him and Richard couldn’t resist them or her…. They ended up at the same Deli for lunch one day. Delia walked into to see him sitting there. He invited her to sit with him. Soon they were enjoying each other’s company and exchanging numbers.

It became clear to Richard that Delia was a beautiful, genuine, caring young woman who would always help her friends and family. For Delia, Richard was selfless, noble, her cheerleader and her calm.

Two amazing people who belong together are getting married!

    Pasadena Engagement/ Hugus Alley: S loves J

They probably passed each other in the college hall ways on the way to class. They might have studied feet away from each other in the library. They could have had a meal with their backs to each other in the dining room. They were there, but they never met. Destiny waited. It would be an App that would bring them together at the beginning of the Pandemic. It would take three months for them to meet.

The well planned out first date for Sushi didn’t go to well at first. There was a three hour wait, so they decided to go to another restaurant. Since they were in separate cars, they both drove to different places. J actually thought, she had been ditched when S called her. Suddenly, they were sitting, eating, laughing. The conversation just flowed. Neither wanted the date to end.

J would find S to be considerate, admirable, unparalleled and of course handsome. She knew S was the one when she saw that his respect and love for her was genuine. She saw how he treated everyone in their lives; her family, her friends, his family, and his friends. J had never met another person like him.

Since that first conversation, S could see that besides beautiful, J was also compassionate, caring, ambitious, smart, courageous, and strong. She was the woman that was constantly opening his mind to new ideas and concepts. She was not afraid to be competitive and challenged him to small debates, games and even tennis.

It would be during an anniversary trip to the Bahamas where S would propose to J. He planned a snorkeling tour of a famous and large aquarium with 100’s of fish, sharks, stingrays, and a manta ray named Hope. At the end of the tour, S got down on one knee and proposed. J was not expecting it. She of course said, “Yes, ” to the man she loved.

Pasadena City Hall/ Quinceañera Photography/ Natalie

Her positivity is contagious. In seconds, you are sharing smiles and laughter. Natalie is kind hearted, hardworking, dedicated and loving. She is very authentic in her personality and very artistic. She is a dancer who started learning discipline and commitment at the young age of four. Tap, jazz and lyrical have been her greatest passions, along with drawing and singing.
Natalie was born on the most memorable Father’s Day her daddy would ever have. She was his greatest gift and in seconds had her family wrapped around her little fingers.

In the future, Natalie would love to use her artistic skills to be a creative director, an animator or a digital artist. Whatever, she chooses, she will continue to make the world smile.

Pasadena Engagement Pictures: A Love Story: George loves Sasha.

It was Sasha’s first day of work as a barista at Crevier BMW and no one had said, “hello.” It was the end of the day, and she was taking out the trash when George noticed her from across the parking lot. He walked straight up to her and introduced himself. It was the beginning of a friendship that would last 8 years. A friendship of check ins and hellos, but a sincere one. It would take 8 years for George to ask her out and when he did, he said, “as friends.” They met up for sushi and drinks. The moment Sasha walked through the door and saw him sitting there, butterflies swarmed. George of course, felt the same way. What was supposed to be a quick catch up with a friend ended up being a date. They stayed until closing and ended the night with an immaculate kiss.

Sasha had prayed for many years for God to send her a man who would accept her and her son. Her prayers were answered in abundance. George not only accepted them, but cherished and protected them.

“George makes me feel like I am always the only person in a room. As if I am the most beautiful creature to walk this earth. He makes me feel safe and secure with just one kiss on my hand. He makes me laugh so hard that I snort- a talent seldom experienced. I am never the weirdo in the room anymore, but rather WE are the weird couple now! But that’s okay, I’ll happily take the crown of weird old couple in the room one day! I can see us strutting around with our very old and fat selves, laughing and smiling and celebrating our lives together, because that’s what I see when I look into his eyes…I see George by my side for the rest of my life.”

The day George proposed, he told Sasha, he was taking her out for dinner for date night at The Gulf Stream. Sasha didn’t noticed that they were going in the wrong direction, until they pulled up to the boating docks in Newport. George yelled, “Surprise!!!,” and Sasha said, “Oooookay??” She figured that they were going to watch the sunset on the beach, but instead George walked her down the dock that was covered in rose petals. The dock lead to a gondola with a candle lit dinner, wine, and desserts. While enjoying the water, the night, and a romantic song the gondolier sang, a glass bottle floated alongside them. George leaned over, grabbed it and pulled out a note. He gave it to Sasha to open. She read the words, “My Sasha, I love you with all my heart. Will you Marry me?” Sasha looked up and George was on one knee holding a beautiful ring. Of course, Sasha cried and said, “Yes!”
