Volkov Wedding- Marina Village, San Diego

It was a wedding with roller coasters, monkeys, bag pipes and somehow the groom got pushed in shopping cart. But what else could be expected on a date that will only come around again in the next thousand years? On 11-11-11, Kori Menzies married Jim Volkov.
He made her the bouquet that she carried down the aisle. It was wrapped with her Daddy’s tie and tucked away in it was the picture of her grandpa in a locket. They both teared up when they saw each other for the first time, but once they were together all nerves were gone. He could not stop smiling at her during the entire ceremony and then he couldn’t stop kissing her. They rode a roller coaster with their wedding party. The most touching toasts were made from family and friends who came from as far as Italy to be there. And to match the cake top, there was a lot of monkeying around during their reception. Monkey Love- the love of craziness. The love of Kori and Jim.
