Los Angeles Engagement Photography/Disney Concert Hall/ Ruben loves Evelyn

It was Halloween, and Ruben was not wearing a costume. His true self and his heart were exposed. He was staring at a tall and pretty girl dressed as a French Maid and falling in love. Evelyn thought he was cute. When it’s Love at First Sight, things move fast. At the end of the night, Ruben had walked her to the car and stolen a kiss. The next day, they would go to a movie and start confirming that they were perfect for each other. She made him smile, he made her laugh.

It was soon obvious, they had no reason to not plan for a future together. Dreams of having children, growing old and traveling the world were theirs. They already had found the one. They shared values and beliefs, they each made the other feel loved and they brought out the best in each other. If they didn’t have something in common, they were willing to try something new for the other.

As unrehearsed as that first stolen kiss, Ruben proposed. There, in the intimacy of their living room, he confessed his love. It was the easiest, “Yes!”

Luxe City Hotel Wedding: Marcus and Patricia

They had refused to call it a wedding. This was just two families coming together and having a party. At least that is what Patricia kept saying. Yet, their enthusiasm for their day was evident when with their fashionable wedding clothes. Patricia looked Hollywood Glamorous on the stairs of the Luxe City Hotel and Marcus literally stopped traffic with his gold shoes.

This was the day he was marrying the girl he had swiped right on Tinder and had hoped was real. She was. Just as he had waited anxiously to meet Patricia in person for their first date, once again he waited to see her as his bride.

Patricia tapped him on the shoulder. He turned and they both smiled. He opened his jacket and showed off the memories. He had lined his suit with pictures of their engagement. With skyscrapers behind them and traffic below, Patricia and Marcus shared their first kiss on their wedding day.

The wind blew harder as they shared their vows. Heaven had sent a message. They were married. Mariachi played and they did the ultimate poses to get a party started. The party raged. But Patricia and Marcus were going to make their wedding even more memorable. And so Rick James and Teena Marie made an appearance. It was definitely a party!

      Bea’s Wax : Jillian

Women love getting pedicures and manicures. The thought of a facial is fun. But getting a Bikini Wax or Brazilian is far from our favorite thing to do. The idea of hot wax being spread near our private parts and then being pulled up by cloth strips is not anything any sane woman looks forward to. Jillian knows this and she makes everything about the whole process better, faster and yes even to a point enjoyable. Yes, I am one of the woman that have laid on her table and have enjoyed her professionalism and technique. (No worries there are no pictures of me in a butterfly position.)
When Jillian asked me to shoot some shots of her because she was being featured in the magazine Voyage LA, I might have screamed a little. (Okay, I screamed a lot.) Even though I admire Jillian for the service that she provides, I greatly admire her as a business woman. She is charismatic, hardworking, driven and yet humble, honest and caring. This is the very standard that I, myself, hold my business to and expect of other businesses that I endorse.
If you have ever feared, thought it would be humiliating, felt nervous etc… to get hair removed, “down there,” then make an appointment at Bea’s Wax. Just like me, she is happy when the clients become her friends!
