Pasadena Engagement Pictures: A Love Story: George loves Sasha.

It was Sasha’s first day of work as a barista at Crevier BMW and no one had said, “hello.” It was the end of the day, and she was taking out the trash when George noticed her from across the parking lot. He walked straight up to her and introduced himself. It was the beginning of a friendship that would last 8 years. A friendship of check ins and hellos, but a sincere one. It would take 8 years for George to ask her out and when he did, he said, “as friends.” They met up for sushi and drinks. The moment Sasha walked through the door and saw him sitting there, butterflies swarmed. George of course, felt the same way. What was supposed to be a quick catch up with a friend ended up being a date. They stayed until closing and ended the night with an immaculate kiss.

Sasha had prayed for many years for God to send her a man who would accept her and her son. Her prayers were answered in abundance. George not only accepted them, but cherished and protected them.

“George makes me feel like I am always the only person in a room. As if I am the most beautiful creature to walk this earth. He makes me feel safe and secure with just one kiss on my hand. He makes me laugh so hard that I snort- a talent seldom experienced. I am never the weirdo in the room anymore, but rather WE are the weird couple now! But that’s okay, I’ll happily take the crown of weird old couple in the room one day! I can see us strutting around with our very old and fat selves, laughing and smiling and celebrating our lives together, because that’s what I see when I look into his eyes…I see George by my side for the rest of my life.”

The day George proposed, he told Sasha, he was taking her out for dinner for date night at The Gulf Stream. Sasha didn’t noticed that they were going in the wrong direction, until they pulled up to the boating docks in Newport. George yelled, “Surprise!!!,” and Sasha said, “Oooookay??” She figured that they were going to watch the sunset on the beach, but instead George walked her down the dock that was covered in rose petals. The dock lead to a gondola with a candle lit dinner, wine, and desserts. While enjoying the water, the night, and a romantic song the gondolier sang, a glass bottle floated alongside them. George leaned over, grabbed it and pulled out a note. He gave it to Sasha to open. She read the words, “My Sasha, I love you with all my heart. Will you Marry me?” Sasha looked up and George was on one knee holding a beautiful ring. Of course, Sasha cried and said, “Yes!”

Exposition Park Los Angeles Engagement: Marcus loves Trisha

Marcus swiped right on Patricia’s picture. What was supposed to be a “Tinder,” meet up was not. Patricia was still technically living in Seattle. So they messaged for a couple of weeks until Patricia moved back in November. Once again meeting each other got delayed, because now Marcus was working crazy hours. Finally, on the Tuesday before Christmas Eve, they met. They did not know it then, but Tuesday before Christmas Eve would always be considered their anniversary.

They met at LA Live and had dinner at the Yard House. It would not be until their third date when they shared a kiss. Trisha had won at bowling at Lucky Strike. (Marcus accused her of cheating.) Since she was already winning, she celebrated victory at Rosa Mexicano with pomegranate margaritas and moved in for their first kiss. Seeing each other was difficult. They lived on opposite sides of LA county. This by Southern California standards is considered a long distance relationship. But after every date, Marcus would take Tricia all the way home to her parent’s house, so she would not have to take the bus or train back by herself. Tricia knew she was loved and moved closer to him.

For her 30th birthday, they went to Jamaica. The trip was delayed by a hurricane, but nothing was going to delay the plans that Marcus had. After a night swim in the Luminous Lagoon in Jamaica, where the bacteria in the lagoon lights up and hovers around you, Patricia only wanted a shower, to order room service and relax. Marcus insisted on taking a picture. There she was at the edge of the bed with wet hair when Marcus got down on one knee and asked the big question! Trisha said, “Yes,” to forever .

Disney Concert Hall Engagement: Donny loves Michelle

It was a virtual meeting that began this love story. Donny contacted Michelle when he saw her profile. He was driving back from Vegas. His first words to her would be…”Hey! What’s up?” Even though this was not the most thought provoking line, it still got Michelle’s attention. After scoping his profile, Michelle answered and numbers were exchanged. The conversation and the texts would go on for hours. Donny knew he had to meet her. Within a week they were sipping on Starbucks, talking, laughing and bonding over the fact that they both loved Family Guy. (“Lois, Lois, Lois, Mom, Mom, Mom, Mommy, Mommy, Mommy”..”What?” “Hi!”)
They both proclaimed to be shy, but Donny saw confidence in her and Michelle didn’t have to rationalize why she liked him. The nagging feeling of doubt was replaced with the nagging feeling that this relationship was right. They were the couple that flowed and click.
The following year began with a hike in San Francisco on New Year’s Day. Donny fidgeted and insisted they climb a boulder which sat above the ocean. It was on top of this rock, with jagged rocks and ocean water below, where Donny asked Michelle to stand and where he proceeded to get down on his knee. He asked Michelle to be his wife and she of course said, “Yes.”
