Veve and Eddie’s story began much like many modern love stories—through a dating app. Veve noticed Eddie had kind eyes and a nice smile. Despite living over 50 miles apart, fate brought them together, and they matched. As she explored his profile, she saw he shared similar family values, loved sports, and enjoyed traveling—just like her. Their first date was at a cozy coffee shop, where an instant connection blossomed—as if they were meant to be. They spent hours immersed in conversation, so much so that they were gently escorted out after closing time. Their adventurous spirits soon led them to go karting and a romantic gondola ride, filled with wine and vegan sweets, further deepening their bond.
Eddie describes Veve as a beautiful, passionate, and energetic person who “laughs at my jokes, helps me solve problems, introduces me to new foods, and gets me out of my bubble.” To him, she is truly special because there’s never a day he doesn’t feel reminded of her love. Veve, in turn, sees Eddie as a handsome, hard-working, witty, and kind-hearted man. “I often reflect on how I prayed for someone compassionate and kind, and I’m blessed that I he also happens to be incredibly handsome!” She is grateful for how he makes her feel cherished and valued, encouraging her dreams, considering her feelings, and nurturing her with patience and understanding.
Their love story isn’t flashy or out of an episode of Grey’s anatomy. It’s better—rooted in gratitude, partnership, and a love that continually chooses each other. It is a testament to the depth of their bond, built on faith and genuine connection. It is a beautiful reminder of how their love was woven from faith and hope.
Finally, Eddie’s proposal was a moment they would never forget. It happened late one night, just before Veve was leaving for a trip to Europe with her family. She had just finished a long day at work, exhausted but excited to see Eddie before her journey. That evening felt perfect—clear skies twinkling with stars and a gentle dew covering the grass. When Eddie saw Veve approaching, he couldn’t stop smiling. Knowing how much she loved flowers, he brought her the biggest bouquet of red roses shaped into a heart. As he got down on one knee, he proposed. In that unforgettable moment, their love story took a new step—sweet, hopeful, and full of promise.
