His mom describes Ruben as independent, driven, and caring. He is going into the army! It will be six years before his family sees him again. His eldest niece will be sixteen, and his nephew will no longer fit in his arms. It was the perfect time to take family pictures and document the love his family has for him. It was a celebration. Mom had been sick for two years, and then she got her liver transplant! God has given her a new lease on life, and her wish was to have pictures with her family. And so her children and grandchildren came and surrounded her.
