San Juan Capistrano Engagement: Chris loves Winona

They decided to meet “halfway,” at the Anaheim Packing District, but before the date even started, Chris made Winona upset. He told Winona that he was stuck busy at work, and that he might be late or have to cancel.

Winona who was almost out the door, was not going to accept a cancellation. She was an ER Nurse who worked nights. This was her day off and she had even put on make up! The date was happening today or it was all over.

Chris was late, but he was there waiting outside. Winona walked closer to him. He was turned away. Her heart was pounding. He turned. She saw a tall and good looking guy. He saw a beautiful woman. Neither knew it then, but they had just met the person they were going to marry.

There was no awkwardness in that first date. Everything was smooth and easy. It ended with a hug. Their second date would bring them closer…. lunch, a movie, time at sports bar and their first kiss.

Winona soon realized that Chris was patient, caring and loving. She not only felt loved, but spoiled. When she was anxious, he was peace. He was strength when she felt weak. He was her mind reader and he was on her mind.

Chris was in love. Winona was beautiful, caring and adventurous. She appreciated him. She brought joy to his life and made him laugh with her contagious positivity. So for their 2nd anniversary, they decided to go to Hawaii. Every evening, they walked the beach and saw the sunset. What Winona did not know was that Chris was finding the perfect place and time to propose.

On their last night, they said in front of the lake. Chris told Winona that he had a present for her and to close her eyes. When she opened them, Chris was holding a gorgeous ring in his hand asking her to marry him. Winona said, “Of course!” The start of their journey to forever had started.

Whittier Narrows Horse Trail Engagement: Jorge loves Alejandra

Alejandra stood in the stable braiding the horse’s hair. She was having a bad day. Jorge picked that moment to talk to the pretty girl he had been admiring. He definitely changed her mood quickly. He was fun, positive and thoughtful. Their first date would be at her favorite coffee shop Tierra Mia. Then they went to the beach at sunset and sat in the sand and spoke. They were friends, but the more they talked, the more they fell for each other. Jorge was respectful, loving and kind. He admired Alejandra for everything she was.

He was a man that made Alejandra feel valued. She was the woman that showed her worth. He was the respectful man she wanted. He was the good girl he had waited for. They loved each other, took care of each other, and made the other feel better. Even their horses loved each other.

Pasadena Engagement Photography: Philip loves Bridget

They were backstage at Disney’s Aladdin: A Music Spectacular when they met. Philip thought Bridget was a cute redhead and so between shows he was being flirty. Bridget thought he was handsome in his uniform. She loved his humor and that he was a bit of a nerd. She admired his work ethic, and how knowledgeable, skilled and passionate he was about his job. She looked forward to working with him and was sad when he was not there. Philip thought that Bridget was selfless, hardworking and loving.

The vow of in sickness and in health began early. Bridget had a chronic illness and Philip was always very understanding. Their love for one another went beyond. They love three beautiful fur babies: Apollo, Roxy and Snoopy.

Los Angeles Arboretum Engagement: David loves Tay

Sometimes a Love Story isn’t instant. It’s not in that first look. A phone call isn’t made that night and a date is not planned the next day. Sometimes, love takes its sweet time, because it knows it will be special.

David was at a bar when Tay walked by. His friend called the friend Tay was with and suddenly they were all hanging out. Tay thought he was a nice guy and David played it safe by waiting a month to call her. Then it would take six months to actually go out on a date. That date would be at Keegans for his birthday, the same place they had met.

If it first the he played it safe, David stopped playing by the rules. Not that in love, there is any. He was writing poetry, drawing for Tay and telling her how he was always thinking about her. Tay saw a man who was extremely kind and giving. She was so grateful for him and thanked God he had come into her life when he did. It was in the hardest moment in her life that David refused to leave her alone. He was there to lean on.

David loved Tay for her strength, her determination and the love she gives to everyone. She was an amazing mother to her children. He of course had to propose to the woman that he loved with everyone present.

Tay thought she was going to hang out at the beach with a friend. Suddenly, friends and family appeared. Each person gave her a rose. More people, more roses. Tay was confused and crying. She had several dozens in her arms. She could hear music. The song, “Look at me, I’m in Love,” was playing. Everyone was yelling for her to turn around. She did. David was on one knee.

Mt. Baldy Engagement Photos / Pedro loves Jocelyn

Most couples go to the movies for their first date, but Pedro and Jocelyn actually met at the theater where they worked. Pedro saw a beautiful girl with brown curly hair, a great smile and eyes that he loved. Unfortunately, Jocelyn was dating someone else, and so, they just became friends. And even when Jocelyn’s other relationship had ended, they stayed friends.

They would hang out, going to Disneyland, trying new foods and even going on random drives to Malibu. They would talk about their families, past relationships and about life. Pedro was Jocelyn’s guy friend… a guy friend who liked her, but Jocelyn didn’t realize it or was just not interested.

It was on a trip to Canada with a group of friends that the realization literally hit her. Everyone was play fighting and so Pedro and Jocelyn joined in the fun. It was there, where when the lamp light shined on Pedro’s face, that all she could do was stare. It was something about the glow on his face, that told her, she liked him more than a friend. But as most love stories go, nothing changed. In fact, they got upset at each other on the trip and drove back to California, not in the happiest of moods.

Jocelyn knew she was upset even more because she realized she liked him. They met up and told each other how they felt. But Jocelyn did not want to ruin the friendship. She did not want to lose her guy friend. But Pedro was in love with the funny, caring girl who loved to travel. So he persisted and convinced her to give their relationship a try.

Fast forward 7 years in this love story. Pedro had decided that he would propose at the Grand Canyon. It had been the place of their first road trip together alone, and for them it was magical and mysterious. It was getting dark and so Pedro made Jocelyn and his brother speed walk. He told them that there was a glowing waterfall that needed to be seen in the sun. There was none. Jocelyn finally reached Pedro. He hugged her, started reading his notes and got on one knee to propose. His brother was recording, still wondering where the waterfall was. Jocelyn had officially lost her guy friend that day, but she said, “Of course,” to the best friend she would marry.
