Pasadena City Hall Engagement Photography: Randy loves Stephanie

Randy’s sister invited Stephanie to dinner, and there he was, the man she would fall in love with. For Stephanie, it was an instant attraction. She made jokes and flirted, but Randy was in another headspace. His father’s recent death had left him feeling lost, confused, and emotionally unmoored. He wasn’t looking for love. He didn’t even know he needed it. “But then came Stephanie. From the beginning, there was something grounding about her presence. She brought a calm into my chaos, a lightness into my heaviness. She became the steady I didn’t know I was searching for.”

Stephanie made every excuse to stay in touch with Randy. She saw that he was smart, loving, kindhearted, and noble. They were now friends, and she was in love. “I fell in love. He treats me with respect and makes me feel like his queen. The way he looks at me with such pureness, no evil, no bad intentions…”

Randy accepted in his heart that Stephanie was not only meant to be his best friend, but his girlfriend. On the Long Beach Pier, with a beautiful full moon reflecting down on the water, it was made official. They were not just best friends, but a couple. Randy felt whole again. Stephanie was by his side, supporting him, and he was there for her. “Every time I was down, she lifted me. And when life hit her hard, I did the same. That became our rhythm: always there for each other, no matter what.”

Stephanie had not just hoped or wished for Randy… she had prayed for him. This would always amaze him. “She prayed for it. For us. For our future. Our love story isn’t flashy or fairytale-perfect. It’s better. It’s real, rooted in prayer, partnership, and a love that keeps choosing each other—over and over again.”

Of course, in these beautiful love stories, there is always a lie. It is meant to distract from what is about to happen. Randy told Stephanie that he had reservations at a rooftop restaurant in Harbor Island at sunset. As they walked alongside yachts, they came across a path with rose petals, and a heart of roses with the wordrs, “Will you Marry me?, and a photographer waiting. Randy pointed it out and said, “Look babe someone’s proposing.” Stephanie felt excitement, but for someone else. She responded with a happy, “Awhhh! Let’s go watch!” As they got closer, Randy said, “That’s for you!” Stephanie wasn’t sure she had heard right. Randy repeated, “Babe I need you to get ready because all this is for you.”

Yes, the proposal was for Stephanie. The love she had prayed for was hers. The man she loved got on one knee and asked her to be his companion forever. Stepanie, of course, said, “Yes!”

California Engagement Photography: Claremont Colleges: Amanda loves Carlos

Between the bustle of dishes clanking, orders being taken, drinks being made, and the laughter of patrons, Amanda and Carlos noticed each other as they worked at TGI Fridays. Each thought the other was cute, but neither made a move.

It would be at Buffalo Wild Wings, when they were hanging out with coworkers, that they finally began to talk, connect, and honestly fall in love. Amanda soon saw that Carlos was thoughtful, funny, and caring.

“He is very thoughtful, if he sees I need help with anything, he doesn’t hesitate to help. He can make me laugh no matter what mood I’m in, and he is super sweet and can put a smile on my face and help me up when I’m feeling down. He is caring and a great dad to our fur babies. I know he is going to make an amazing dad for our future babies.”

Carlos had admired Amanda for a while. She was beautiful, but soon, he saw that she also had a lot of beauty within. Amanda was loving, funny, and dedicated. “She’s very affectionate, so she likes to snuggle up close any chance she gets with me… or the dogs. It doesn’t matter, she just likes being close to those she loves. She’s very funny. It’s never boring being around her. She’s a really hardworking person. She loves to learn new skills. I wish I had that same dedication that she has to try and learn new things. I guess in many ways we are opposites, but in ways that mesh and compliment each other and I love that about her.”

Knowing Amanda loved plants and nature, Carlos took her to an arboretum in Arizona. He had with him a ring that Amanda was destined to have. It was her grandmother’s, and it was a promise that Amanda would wear it when she got engaged. The Arboretum was crowded, but their hike took them to a secluded spot by a creek under big beautiful trees. Amanda was talking to Carlos about the view and staring at the trees when she noticed he was not saying anything. She turned to see him on one knee holding her grandmother’s ring. She did her best to not, “ugly cry,” and said, “Yes!,” to forever with the man she loved.

Claremont Engagement Session: Benjamin loves Priscyla

This love story began on a road trip to Vegas when a group of friends traveled together to celebrate a 21st birthday. Priscyla called “shotgun” and ended up next to the driver. She talked to Benjamin the entire drive over. Benjamin found it hard to keep his eyes on the road, next to him was a beautiful girl who kept him smiling.

By the end of the weekend, Benjamin had asked a friend for her number, and Priscyla, who had not stopped thinking about him, was happy to give it. They soon realized that they lived blocks from each other. They had always meant to be close, but it had taken a trip to another state to bring them together.

Priscyla describes Benjamin as thoughtful, considerate, and generous. “The love he has for his family is something so special. He makes time to see his parents every week. He helped support his family through a hard time without asking for anything in return. He happily drives over two hours to visit his brother, niece, and nephew.”

Benjamin describes her as beautiful, caring, and selfless. Priscyla is the woman he will always love.  Their relationship is built on mutual love and support, always encouraging each other to move forward.  On a family trip to Cabo San Lucas, on a beautiful beach, Benjamin pulled a box from his pocket and dropped to one knee. His face went serious for a second, and Priscyla knew what it meant. She said, “Yes,” to the man she loved.

The girl who had called “shotgun” eleven years ago and sat beside him would now be by his side forever.

Fairmount Park Engagement: Sergio loves Cristina

Sergio swiped right on the girl with the beautiful eyes. Cristina swiped right too and they were a match. Sergio messaged her and soon they were meeting for dinner at Shogun. To this day, that restaurant is one of their favorite places because it was where it all began. She thought he was shy, he was just happy to be there. Soon Cristina would see how charming, affectionate and full of life he was. Sergio saw far beyond her beauty. She had a kind heart and was so special. He was charmed by everything about her.

It would not take long for him to realize how super happy he was around her and how he couldn’t wait to see her when they were apart. This was the girl he wanted to marry. So there at Fairmount Park, under the trees and at the edge of the water, Sergio gave Cristina a ring. He didn’t need to say anything. Cristina ready every word on his heart and said, “Yes.”
