Stacy and Terry’s family tree has grown. Two baby branches have been added. They are grandparents to Reese and Zion. This holiday, they were able to have their family under one roof! The house was full, and so was their heart. Memories had to be captured.

This Story was captured by A Story in Time Photography – Jessie Cadenas. We are Los Angeles, Orange County Wedding Photographers located in the Inland Empire. Our style is Classic, Romantic, and Fun. Diamond Bar Family Photography: The Wadsworths

Robin is my best friend at work. She’s the talented choir teacher and this year’s Teacher of the Year. We jokingly call each other sister wives. (Our husbands roll their eyes.) Honestly, I do love her and her family. You might recognize her son Tyler as my second photographer.

Robin and Phill have been married 36 years. Robin describes Phill as content, loyal and hilarious. Chris as passionate, a thinker and strong and Tyler as creative, generous and funny. And as I went through all of those adjectives, I realized that Robin was all those. They have all gotten the best of her.

Diamond Bar Golf Course Wedding Photography/ Fernando and Nicole

Nicole took a deep breath and started walking toward the man she loved. He anxiously waited. She touched his shoulder and he turned to see his beautiful bride. A smile spread across his face, love in his eyes. He had fallen in love with her energy and kindness. Nicole loved how sweet and gentle he was. Their forever began today.

        Motorcycle Engagement: José loves Alejandra

They knew of each other, but their paths had not crossed. So José slipped into her DM on Instagram. Alejandra didn’t trust him enough to meet him at her house, so their first meeting would be in parking lot. It didn’t take long for them to be on their way to Moon Shadows in Malibu for dinner. And if Alejandra had been hesitant of accepting a first date, she wasn’t about giving him the first kiss. José loved her because she was gorgeous and loyal. But she was also the girl who he could laugh and joke with. Alejandra loved his character. He was sweet and she loved his attention to detail. José knew no other girl would hold his heart or sit on his motorcycle. In the same restaurant as their first date, Jose proposed to the woman he loved. Alejandra said, “Yes,” to forever.

          Family Photography- The Wadsworths

Distance can only be measured in miles…and love narrows that gap. A family continues to be a family even if they are not under the same roof. Family is not limited to blood or to a last name. Family is who loves you, misses you when you are away, and makes you laugh when you are close.

My friend’s youngest son was leaving…moving across the country to start a new job and work in campus ministry. Robin wanted family pictures before he left.. and so we took serious family pictures… NOT! Fun, happy and just plain crazy like my friend. And yes..Robin’s eldest son is none other than my talented second photographer- Tyler.

“You don’t choose your family. They are God’s gift to you, as you are to them.” Bishop Desmond Tutu

A picture captures a moment in life, a reason to remember, holding the ones we LOVE... FOREVER.. in a Story in Time.
