Claremont Family Photographer: Scripps: Areas

Usually, I say crazy stuff, and people laugh. This time, I said crazy stuff, they said crazier stuff and I took pictures while laughing. There were telenovela characters, no shoes at one point, and new dating apps were being created. (Please look for my pictures in the future on “Hotdads.com” and “Curlyhairmodelsinc.”)

It was wonderful seeing this family again. I captured Alyssa’s Sweet 16 and Mia’s Graduation.

Yenaib wore a beautiful knitted handmade dress. Her grandmother created this exquisite piece with hundreds of rolls of yarn. The dress is as unique as Yenaib. She is one who immediately makes you feel appreciated. She is kind and finds joy in helping others.

In her mother’s beautiful words…

“Yenaib es el ejemplo de una persona tierna, amorosa y perseverante. Yenaib demuestra un futuro favorable por su honestidad y deseo de ayudar a los demas. En esta vida nos a podido alegrar con su sencillez y su pasión por hacer sentir bien a los que la rodeamos. Eres una persona que se propone metas y no quitas el dedo del renglón hasta que cumple su cometido. No hay nada en la vida mas importante que tus principios y educación para poder alcanzar tus metas.”

California Photographer: Claremont Colleges: Melissa is 30!

Melissa is celebrating her 30th Birthday! If she looks familiar. She’s my assistant, usually standing behind me, holding a reflector or light, and getting ready to hand me a lens. Today, she was in front of my camera.

Thirty years ago, she became the little sister to two boys. Her mom and dad got their wish of having a little girl. there are no two better paper to describe her.

“Melissa es alegre, graciosa y no tiene malicia. Es muy reponsable y trabajadora. Trata de llevarse bien con todos. Le doy gracias a Dios por haberme dado una niña. Le deseo que aproveche la vida. Que goce su juventud.”- Mamá

“Melissa has perserverance. She is determined and charismatic. She is responsible and joyful. I wish her happiness and that all her wishes come true.” -Dad

Family Photography: Claremont: Munbao

It was a celebration. Mom had been sick for two years, and then she got her liver transplant! God has given her a new lease on life, and her wish was to have pictures with her family. And so her children and grandchildren came and surrounded her.

Claremont Family Photographer: Adame

There are pictures that are being kept secret, especially from Dad. Scarlet is celebrating her seventh birthday soon, a special celebration in Filipino culture. Right after these family pictures, Daddy left with her brother and sister, and she put on a beautiful dress. It will be a mini Quinceañera. Can’t wait to show those off too.
