Her mom’s thoughts and words…

“Desiree is a bright, confident, and courageous young woman. From a very young age, she has always been independent and determined. She enjoyed playing softball, volleyball, and running track, and she was always eager to lend a helping hand around the house. Desiree also helped care for her little brother and has always had a heart of gold. She’s the kind of person who sees what needs to be done and does it without being asked.

Desiree is also very talented at drawing. When she was in preschool, she dreamed of becoming a cupcake maker. Now, her ambitions have grown—she hopes to become a real estate agent or a veterinarian.

When I was pregnant with Desiree, I often wondered what she would look like and what kind of little girl she would be. The moment I saw her, I knew she was special—the most beautiful baby I had ever seen, not just because she was mine, but because of the light she carried within her.

We wish for Desiree to grow into a kind, respectful, and successful young woman, and to always follow her dreams. Whatever path she chooses, we will be there by her side, supporting her every step of the way.”

“When Karina Lydia Martinez burst into the world, I just knew she’d be a human sparkler, spreading glittery kindness and compassion everywhere. As our second youngest of five siblings, Karina’s super chill vibe really comes alive when she’s sharing her passions and inspiring those around her. This honor student is a total bookworm, and she’s all about becoming a chief financial officer, driven by her unshakeable commitment to honesty and integrity – aka she’s a total straight arrow. Karina’s selfless dedication to volunteer work in school activities and church bible study is basically a masterclass in compassion and devotion to uplifting others. And, fun fact, Karina’s a total Renaissance woman – she sings, knows ASL sign language, and has a black belt in Karate, because, why not? Her love for her family is basically the brightest light in the universe, especially when it comes to her younger brother Junior, who’s Autistic. With humility and simplicity as her superpowers, Karina is basically a superhero, and her dreams of creating lasting, positive change are well within her reach. Karina always radiates brilliance, guided by her unwavering values and passions, and may her future be filled with promise, fulfillment, and joy.”

Not only did she expertly guide us through the process, but she also helped us find a breathtaking location that perfectly complemented our daughter’s quinceañera dress. As the day of the photo shoot arrived, there were numerous details to attend to, including clothing and accessories, hair, and makeup for the entire family. This experience transcended a traditional Quinceañera photo shoot, evolving into a wonderful family photo shoot. Trinity is loving, creative, and wise beyond her years. Our sweet rainbow baby, she carries the spirit of an old soul—kind, thoughtful, and full of warmth. Even as she turns just 15, there’s something beautifully spiritual about her, as if she sees the world through a deeper lens.

She’s a modern Chicana with a heart rooted in the ’90s—confident, proud, and brimming with personality. Trinity has a special love for lowriders, old-school music, and vintage fashion. Her style is unmistakably her own, and she wears it with pride and grace, honoring the past while making it fresh and new.

Since she was little, Trinity has dreamed of having a quinceañera. For her, it’s more than just a celebration—it’s a meaningful tradition, one she honors deeply. She’s always loved the spotlight, always imagined feeling like a princess for a day—but she never loses sight of the heritage and heart behind it.

Smart, determined, and endlessly imaginative, Trinity is a thinker, a doer, and a true original. She shines on the softball field with her team-first spirit, always lifting others up and leading with heart.

Off the field, her passions run just as deep. Trinity has a gift for fashion, makeup, and hair—a creative eye that’s all her own. She dreams of becoming a makeup artist and working in fashion design, and there’s no doubt she has the talent and drive to make it happen.

California Family Photography: Claremont Colleges: The Chang Family

June 27, 2025

Yaojen looked at the picture and asked who she was. The pretty petite Latina had caught his eye, but Megan was gone. She was a past intern who had gone to college, and Yaojen who had just graduated from USC School had just been hired. They had missed meeting each other, but the world of dentistry and Destiny would bring them together. They would never work together as a Dentist and Dental Hygienist in an office, but they would be a dream team that would raise a family. Yaojen did not know it then, but the girl in the picture would be the mom to his two children. He would have a family that ate dinner together every night and traveled. He was looking at his future… a daughter, a son and even a dog.

Fast forward 20 years. They have been married for 15 years and their lives are non-stop with two talented kids.

Kobe loves to play the guitar, basketball, tennis, and video games. Mila is a theater queen who loves all animals, singing, playing guitar and piano, and traveling. Mochi is their 3-year-old sweet Aussie girl.

So now, Megan is the Dental Hygiene Queen, chef, Uber driver, housekeeper, and nonstop shopper! Dr. Yaojen Chang is a hardworking dentist who loves being his family’s travel agent. He loves watching his kids on the court or stage doing their thing with his wife beside him.

Disney Themed Engagement: Claremont: Chris loves Veronica

April 19, 2025

Once upon a time, two extraordinary people found each other—not in a castle or enchanted forest, but at a birthday party. Veronica hadn’t planned on attending Chris’s celebration, but thanks to a bit of sibling persuasion, fate stepped in. That night, she noticed his warm smile and how genuinely respectful he was. What started as a chance meeting quickly grew into something deeper, especially when they saw each other through the eyes of family…. Chris’ siblings.

Chris was taken by Veronica’s gentle strength and nurturing heart who loved his family Veronica saw a man who was full of surprises—thoughtful, kind, and full of love. It was clear from the beginning: they weren’t just falling in love, they were finding home in one another.

Like any true fairy tale, their journey hasn’t been without its dragons and dark woods. Life threw storms their way—challenges most would shy away from. But instead of turning back, they stepped forward. They chose to open their hearts and adopt children with special needs, even when life made it difficult to carry on.

In the midst of Veronica’s battle with kidney cancer, the call came: a baby needed them. She was still healing, barely able to hold her own child, yet the universe asked for more. So she prayed. And then, like something out of a dream, healing came. Strength returned. And love poured in. That baby joined their family, followed by two more beautiful little girls—all wrapped in the kind of love only a true hero and heroine could give.

Villains have interrupted their wedding plans before. Dishonest venues, illness, a global pandemic—every time they tried to plan the perfect celebration, something stood in the way. Las Vegas chapels and backyard vows became their reality. But finally, it’s time for the magic they’ve always deserved.

Chris and Veronica will renew their vows at the happiest place on Earth—they are having a Disney Wedding! Amazing vendors, like Ultimate Music Entertainment, are helping make this dream come true, donating their time and talent to honor this inspiring couple.

Their engagement shoot everything Disney—Veronica in a Cinderella gown, whimsical UP-inspired props, Disney ears, and of course, all the Magic and Happiness of True Love!
