Rene is a devoted father and a supportive husband, always putting his family first. His unwavering dedication to them inspired him to return to school and pursue a degree in Computer Information Technology. After 16 years at his job, he took the bold step of leaving to become a full-time student. This spring, he will graduate with honors, setting a powerful example for his daughters that it’s never too late to pursue your dreams. Rene’s ultimate goal is to secure a position as a CIT project manager.

Brianna is graduating with degrees in Psychology and Sociology with a minor in Christian Studies. She will be attending Cal State Los Angeles in the Fall and begin working towards her Masters in Social Work. She will be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

Brianna loved CBU. All the professors care about their student’s success. It was a welcoming environment.
Brianna took pictures with her family… Mom, Dad, sisters, aunt and cousin!

In her own words, “Taking pictures with my family was super important because they have been supporting me every step of the way. Beginning from the youngest to the oldest they have all been encouraging throughout the process of earning my degree. More specifically my parents, they came here with nothing and did everything to provide the best for my sisters and I. My family is everything to me and with them everything feels complete.”

Brianna will wear her Guatemalan and El Salvadorian Stole in her parents’ honor as she walks to accept her degree.
