Diana Sparkle Banquet Hall: 7th Birthday Filipino Celebration/ Ruby

Ruby celebrated her 7th Birthday. In the Philippines, the 7th Birthday is a big celebration. It marks the year when the child is leaving her infancy. Even though she is still is a child, she now knows the difference between right and wrong. It is a coming-of-age celebration as a Quinceañera, a Sweet 16, a Bat Mitzvah, or a Debut.

Ruby celebrated her 7 birthday with her family and a few of her friends. Her Godparents helped get her dressed. Ruby had kept her dress a secret from her daddy, so on the day of her celebration, she did a first look with him. He turned around to see her dressed.

At her celebration, she received 7 roses from her cousins and brothers signifying each year of her life. 7 girls and women also gave her candles to blow out. With each candle they gave her, they also wished for her future.

Her grandparents sang to her. She blew out her beautiful unicorn cake and finally, her entire family and all of her friends joined her on the dance floor for a group picture.

Cal Aero Quinceañera/ Ari

Ari is described by her mom as loving, smart, and beautiful. She is friendly, and hard-working. Somehow, she manages school, sports, and assignments.

Arianna’s family is not traditional, but they try their best to keep traditions in the family. A Quinceañera was something that brought the family together and celebrated Ari at the same time.

Ari had her Quinceañera at Cal Aero in Chino. It is an airplane hangar! Ari was able to take pictures with an airplane, but she also got to stand on a runway with her softball friends.

Mariachi Santa Mónica played the Mexican Birthday Song, “Las Mañanitas.” She danced with her dad and the emotion overtook both of them. But a smile returned to her face, as all of her family and guests joined her on the dance floor for a group photo. Ari was surrounded by everyone who loved her.

Adan Terriquez Quinceañera Dress/ Mili

Mili’s dress was a secret until the very last second. She had even taken her pre-session in another dress. Monarch Butterflies were embroidered on black with gold swirls and crystals and a train of black ruffles when Her dress was made by the same designer that created outfits for Jenny Rivera: Adan Terriquez

Her mom got her dressed and tears fell when Daddy saw her. Her friends cheered as she exited the house.

Mili celebrated Mass with her closest family and her godparents were by her side. Then the celebration began. She danced with her court and her parents. Her last toy was a Teddy Bear. Her surprise gift left her stunned. It was a trip to Disney World!

Brandview Ballroom /L.A Banquets / Sweet 16

Alexandra celebrated her Sweet 16 at Glendale’s beautiful Brandview Ballroom. We began the celebration weeks before by taking her portraits at Pasadena City Hall. Her dress had an epic long train that trailed on the staircase.

Yellow, white, and gold decorated her reception. Her two best friends helped her get dressed. Outside, her grandparents patiently waited to see her. She tapped them on the shoulders and they turned to see her. They held back happy tears as they hugged her.

A small religious ceremony was held with the closest family. Then, the party began. Alexandra danced with her father in a cloud of smoke and with her court. Her waltz included her being lifted up, and dancing with wine glasses. Her surprise dance ended and her family and friends crowded on a dance floor to take a group photo. A robot came and danced with the guests. Alexandra changed into a shorter dress and tennis shoes and cut her cake!

Los Angeles Arboretum Sweet 16 Photography : Mahani

Mahani is generous, loving and talented. She’s a sweetheart with an incredible memory. Even though, Mahani is worth celebrating everyday, her 16th birthday is a milestone that her family is blessed to be able to share with her.

She brightens up every room that she walks into. She’s the life of the party and makes sure that everyone is included. She takes pride in everything she does and ensures she gives it 100%. She loves to connect to her Puerto Rican Roots, whether in the kitchen cooking family recipes or singing and dancing to music.

Mahani participated in a pageant, “Juguetes Por Sonrisas Honduras.” This nonprofit organization services underprivileged children worldwide. Mahani spent many hours at the refugee camps at the borders, providing food clothing and toys as well as interacting, playing games, and having comforting conversations with the children. She’s the current ambassador for the nonprofit.

Mahani’s mom wishes her health, happiness, peace, understanding, wealth, love, and fulfillment. She deserves everything her heart desires and more.

Mahani’s Sweet 16 theme is Enchanted Garden. Los Angeles Arboretum in Arcadia the perfect place to go. (Peacocks took advantage to also get their pictures taken.)

Mahani took formals with her family.

Mahani’s dress lights up! Our driver Athena took us into the dark Bamboo Jungle.
