Branded Palomino Family Photography: La Verne, California: Genevieve

Genevieve currently loves to walk around everywhere, dance in front of the TV to Dancing Fruits, and her bath time! Her favorite song has always been Old MacDonald. She will stop anything she’s doing to listen. So of course, her first birthday party theme would be a rodeo.

Kelsey from Branded Palomino brought a beautiful brown horse named Rooster, who loved to be in pictures. At one point, he even played with Genevieve’s toy Bullseye.

The horse is from Branded Palomino, and he and others are available for rent.

    California Family Photographer: Claremont: Miramontes

    It is always an honor to be chosen to capture memories for a family, but when a fellow photographer asks you and trusts you to do what she does, you feel it a little more. No, we are not friends… she uses Nikon and I use Canon. At least that’s what I tell people. Faby Miramontes from Faby’s Photography captures Quinceañeras with her daughter Janeth on video. We were going to do headshots, but took advantage of the day and did a family session too.

      California Child Photography: Three Year Old Celebration: Mia Sarai

      In Mexico, a child’s third birthday is a major milestone celebrated with a religious ceremony called the Presentación de Tres Años. There is a blessing, and the parents give thanks for their child’s life. Mia Sarai is turning three! This is like a mini Quinceañera.

      Mia is a smart, playful, and happy toddler. She loves to go inside the chicken coop with her grandpa. Her friend’s name is Sebastian. Even though they do not get to see each other that often, they do love playing together.

        St. Joseph Catholic Church: Pomona: Baptism Photography: Zaira

        Zaira received her first sacrament! She was baptized at St.Joseph Church in Pomona. Her godparents are her great-aunt and great-uncle. Zaira also celebrated her first birthday that same afternoon.

        Zaira is a happy baby. She is passed from arm to arm and with every new person holding her, she smiles. Her mom describes her as joyful, clever and rare.
        “She loves to cuddle, she’s very affectionate, she’s very helpful, and always wants to be involved. She loves to stay on the move! The longest I’ve seen her sit is when we go on a walk in her little car.”

        Zaira did not cry when she was baptized. Minutes later, she was smiling.
