Her name will be Abigail, and she’s already earned her nickname Crabby Abby. (I’m sure this has something to do with how mom is feeling.) Truthfully, Eric and Helen are so excited for her to join their little family. This will make Logan a big brother who has been adamant about wanting a little sister. He even stated that the baby would have to be returned to the hospital if she was not a girl. Logan wakes up every morning and tells her good morning. He has conversations with her throughout the day and asks, “What did she say?”
“He’s always excited when she starts kicking mommy because he gets to feel her. Even though she is Crabby Abby, she has the ability to make everyone either settle down or sleep. Family, who stay near her or just take the time to rub the belly, immediately feel a sense of calm and just start knocking out. Mom and Dad hope that she stays calm once she gets here. We hope that she’s a happy and joyous baby girl. And well, mommy and daddy hope they at least sleep somewhat with her 😆 Logan can’t wait for baby Abby to come, and has already named her Abigail Jessie because he’s obsessed with Jessie 😆”

It seems like yesterday, I captured their wedding. Their family keeps growing! Christopher gets to be a big brother, and his little sister will be his new partner in crime. Genevieve Ann has received her sacrament of Baptism. She is a beautiful baby who is smiley, attentive, and great with others. Right now, she loves it when you “pretend drop” her. Her parents are anticipating lots of of theme parks in her future.
Her godparents are her uncle, her mom’s brother, and her mom’s college roommate. The plan, which they discussed in college, of always staying in touch is happening. They are forever united in the love of a child.

J and R will be celebrating their 35th Wedding Anniversary in May. In those 35 years, they have been blessed with 5 children and 2 granddaughters. They have welcomed a son-in-law and a daughter-in-law into their family, and now they are excited that another of their sons has proposed.
It was the beautiful green engagement ring that brought a family together from across the country. They joined to celebrate that their family would be growing. At seven in the morning, they loved, entertained children, teased each other, and laughed.
