Viviana is graduating Magna Cum Laude from CSUSB with a BA in Liberal Studies. She will be a teacher! She hopes to teach second- and third-graders.
“I want to be a teacher because I believe every person should have a right to an education and shouldn’t be shunned or made to feel guilty about not learning as fast as others may. I want to be a teacher who uplifts their students and helps them realize that we all learn at our own pace, and your pace is not greater/lesser than anyone else’s. I want to be the kind of teacher where students aren’t afraid to ask for help or say they don’t understand something because they know there will be absolutely no judgment from me. I really just want to reach students where they are at and help them get an education and learn to love learning.”
