Angel and Juana met on their first day of college. It was her freshman year and his third. Juana was taken right away with his good looks. She soon realized that he was caring, silly and patient. “I love Angel because he is such a caring person, not just to me, but to all the people around him. He will go out of his way to help his family at any moment of the day and even strangers or any person in need.
He is silly all the time just to make me smile. He will twirl me unexpectedly at any moment and any place just to make me laugh. And the moment he thinks I’m sad or not having a good day he will make sure to find a way to make me smile and change the day around for me.”
Angel loved having random conversations in the school hallway with the pretty girl with who he had fallen in love. She was caring, selfless and supportive. “I love her because she is a very loyal caring person. She goes above and beyond to make sure I know she cares deeply about me. She is selfless and giving. She puts in a lot of effort for those she cares about to know she has their back. She is someone you can always count on. She’ll give up comfort and sleep to make sure everyone she cares about is safe and well taken care of. She gives me strength and comfort, knowing that no matter what, she’ll have my back. Even when I doubt myself, I know she doesn’t doubt me. She makes me feel secure.”
So, at the 123 Farm, Angel set up a mini photoshoot with his phone. His tripod captured pictures as he raced from setting a timer and running back into position beside Juana. Then he pressed record, and there in the middle of a whole lavender field covered with twinkling lights, he proposed. Juana, of course, said, “Yes!”
