Esteban is graduating from UC Santa Barbara with a BS in Statistics and Data Science. For those of you who are like me, wondering what that is… he learned statistics, probability, and data science (using R and Python) and how to apply them in a few fields. (Yup…that didn’t clear that much up for me either, but if you want to be impressed, he did teach me how to waterfall from a Buzzballz.)
He will soon be working for Capgemini—a leading IT firm established in 40+ countries—in Chicago as a programming consultant.
Esteban is a first generation college graduate. He is the first man to graduate from college on both sides of his family. He loves that he is setting an example and precedent that future generation in his family can benefit from and look up to.
