The Juanes Concert was over and Gisel and her friends stopped at a night club. Gisel was not looking to meet anyone. She just wanted to drink and to dance. Little did she know that her entrance had captured the attention of a man who would make her heart his.
Albert followed her to the bar and discreetly sat next to her. Giselle ignored him. He asked her to dance. She said, “No.” … the first time. By the end of the night, Gisel had given him her number.
They texted for a week, talked on the phone, and the following weekend they were out dancing. That was all Gisel wanted… a dance partner. She told Albert that she did not want a relationship. Yet, every weekend, she found herself in his arms and her heart matching the rhythm of his on the dance floor. There was no denying, that everyday, it was turning into something more. Gisel was falling love with the man who loved her.
It would take a year and one month for Gisel to accept being his girlfriend. Albert was caring, hardworking, sweet and loyal. He was the man that she was looking for.
Albert had to begin the New Year with her promise of love. The woman he found intelligent, sure of herself and above all beautiful had to be his for life. In Wrightwood, with their dogs, in the snow he asked Giselle to marry him. Unlike the first time he had asked her to dance, this time Gisel said, “Yes,” immediately.
