Sienna texted on her phone and calmly waited for her mom’s make up to be done. She smiled as curls were released and her hair styled. Her mom and grandma got her ready in her beautiful lavender gown. Sienna’s daddy stood outside the Coco Palms Restaurant waiting to see his daughter. Sienna tapped him on the shoulder, he turned and saw the little girl he had held 15 years ago now a beautiful young woman. Sienna stated many times that day, “We are not going to cry. It’s not happening. Say something to make me laugh.” She survived another first look with her grandparents, a grand entrance, and epic dance with her grandfathers, dad, brother and mom, everyone singing Happy Birthday to her, but didn’t make it past toast. Her grandfather’s words about her childhood and future touched her heart and the tears came. His words also touched everyone else in the room. After the tears dried, the party began. Sienna danced the night aways with her friends and family.
