Aurora kept to herself and her book. Johnny talked and laughed with everybody. They were kids in a Quinceañera and were as opposite as could be. He referred to her as “the girl in the corner,” but honestly he had noticed her. Years would pass and Johnny would see Aurora again. She was beautiful and unimpressed that he was playing professional ball. She was the only girl who was not interested in him. If Johnny was doing well in baseball, he struck out with her. So they became friends. Soon Aurora would notice his qualities and he could only think of her.
They became a couple who of course loved spending time with each other, seeing new places and making plans for the future. But the love they had for each other, would soon have to be shared when a little girl who needed love and attention came into their lives, who they rescued. They loved Eva and then the little girl they were adopting was diagnosed with Leukemia. The young carefree couple were now parents with a huge responsibility. Eva got better. Johnny proposed and the future looked bright, but once again Eva got sick. The cure was over 2,800 miles away in the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. And so the wedding they were saving up for was traded in for trips to Pennsylvania every four months.
Vendors in the wedding industry who learned about this couple’s love and sacrifice have come together to ensure that Johnny and Aurora have the Wedding Story they deserve. Corin Cruz will make the bride look beautiful with her amazing make-up skills. She started with this engagement session. Aurora will carry a bouquet from Szilvia’s Floral Designs. Martha and Giselle Cuevas from The Timeless Lily will also be providing flowers for the reception. The Wedding will be coordinated by Angelica Flores from A Touch of Class Events Co. Mariachi Ilhuitzintli will play during cocktail hour. The celebration will be ensured by Ultimate Music Entertainment. The couple will share a a cake from Bluefooted Bakery. The amazing Boffo Videographers will capture their day alongside of A Story in Time Photography, and their guestbooks and albums will be designed by Faby’s Album Designs and printed by Sunset.
