There was definitely a sign that Corey and Kelly should meet. Actually, there was actual signing. They were in an ASL (American Language Sign) Class together. Then came game time. Opposing teams. They both took it upon themselves to answer without consulting their team members. Kelly won by half a second. Corey lost, but what he had won was Kelly’s attention. She noticed him. Two weeks would go by before he asked her out. He soon learned that he was falling in love with girl who laughed at everything he said. She found him sweet. She loved him because he was a nerd and carefree. No ego. He made her smile, laugh and fall in love with him more everyday.
Corey’s proposal would take Kelly everywhere they had ever been. She would relive their Love Story going each place they had ever gone to on a date. A friend of hers would be there holding another clue. The last place would be Griffith Observatory where Corey would ask to Kelly to be his forever. Surrounded by friends, she said, “Yes,” to the man who would always make her smile and laugh.
