The family. We were a strange little band of characters trudging through life sharing diseases and toothpaste, coveting one another’s desserts, hiding shampoo, borrowing money, locking each other out of our rooms, inflicting pain and kissing to heal it in the same instant, loving, laughing, defending, and trying to figure out the common thread that bound us all together. ~Erma Bombeck
They are not happy if they are not teasing each other. With each jab and insult brings smiles and laughter. Then one of the youngest kids falls and it becomes a contest to see who can make him feel better first. Grandma gets cold and she is being shielded and covered many sweaters and warm arms. Then once again the playful tugging and pushing begins again.
This family is getting bigger! There is a baby on the way!
Live, Love and Laugh...This was what I was thinking as I left them. This is what I was seeing on the way home.
