It was during a church camp when Angel first saw Rachel. From that moment Angel was in love. He knew he would marry her. He was ten years old. Rachel on the other hand saw him as a friend-her best friend. (OMG! This what they write songs about.) He persisted, telling anyone that would listen that she was his girlfriend, “She just doesn’t know it yet.” Fast forward past childhood awkward glances, past teenage drama, past Angel going into the Navy and leaving and Rachel realizing who he was, who he had always been… fast forward to New Years Eve when at midnight, away from the crowds Angel proposed and Rachel said, “Yes,” to her best friend.
