Malibu Engagement: Stephen loves Emily

Stephen noticed Emily long before she ever noticed him. He was intent on asking her out. So since their freshman year in high school he did, but Emily said, “No.” Stephen tried again and again. It was not until their Senior year of high school that Emily agreed to a date.

Their first date would be to Starbucks. They talked hung out and Stephen continued to fall in love. On Valentines Day, they made their relationship official and they shared their first kiss. Stephen never held back how he felt. He told Emily that he loved her that very day.

Emily on the other hand wasn’t really considering it a serious relationship, but it didn’t take long before she saw how blessed she was to have Stephen. She loved how much his relationship with God influenced his life. He was funny and treated her so well. He was selfless and encouraged Emily to do what she wanted. He was an incredible musician who played various instruments. And even though he was not into art, he would go to art museums with Emily and listen to her excitedly babble about paintings.

Since Stephen knew Emily loved art, it would be in the Getty Villa Museum where he would propose. There among the art pieces from the Greek and Roman Era he asked Emily to be his forever. This time, he did not have to ask three times. This time Emily said, “Yes,” the first time he asked.
