La Verne University and Cal State LA Graduation: Vanessa and Xochitl

They are sisters! Vanessa majored psychology. I kept asking her to analyze me. She wouldn’t. (Probably out of fear.) She is graduating from the University of La Verne. Xochitl majored in biology…. and wearing Tiaras. (Inside joke….or is it?) She is graduating from Cal State LA. The future looks amazing! And they are going to be a great example to Vanessa’s baby.

Diamond Bar Family Session: Colton

It’s no surprise Colton loves his Chewie toy since he is the prince of a Star Wars family! He loves going to Disneyland and observe and talk to random people! His favorite ride is Pirates of the Caribbean. He loves the drop! His favorite food is mango, which is crazy because neither of his parents care for it! He loves Classic Rock and loves to dance, but also loves rip roaring rap music. Colton was born 2 weeks late …. because great kids are worth waiting for. NICU baby! Favorite thing to watch is any BBC Nature show on Netflix. He loves anyone with a British accent. His favorite word is, “Dada,” and he likes to point at things and say, “Tis.” He’s Persistent and stubborn, but he loves to laugh and is super ticklish! His favorite toy at home is the laundry basket or a box. His 2 best friends are his dogs, Duke and Essie.

Maternity Photography: José and Jackie

José and Jackie are going to be parents. Will he be a boy or will she be a girl? Either way, he or she is very much loved. Can’t wait to see this baby in front of my camera. (Jessie is a gender neutral name… just saying.)

Los Osos High School Senior Session: Genevieve

Do not let her size fool you. She might be small, but she has the biggest heart ever. Everyone that knows her describes her as caring, kind and compassionate. In the words of her mom, “I think she’s too sweet for this world sometimes. She is a valuable person to the people around her with her aura.”

Besides being smart and hardworking, she is also a talented artist and photographer. She loves to draw. paint and take pictures. (Yes! I got to capture memories for one of my own. Genevieve is my photography assistant… sometimes second photographer.)

She has chosen UC Riverside where she will major in psychology. It’s no surprise she is choosing a path to help others.

Cherry Valley Wedding: Daniel and Erin

Erin put on her make up. A few feet away, Daniel played and dressed their son. She peeked out and smiled. The man she loved today would be her husband. Their beginning had started at an ending for both of them. He needed to buy a house, she was selling hers and so it had begun.

Daniel left the house with the ring bearer. Erin would join them soon. She would tap Daniel on the shoulder and he would turn to see his bride for the first time. Family joined in and surrounded them. With her daughter, Addie at her side and their son Griffen in Daniel’s arms their first family wedding picture was taken. They caravanned to a hill top. Old french doors, a sofa, a vintage typewriter Daniel’s excitement only grew more when his son paused to pick up, “Shiny things,” and then proceeded to run to his father’s arms carrying a sign that read, “Daddy here comes your love!” The song, “This is it,” played. “Way up in the mountains, four thousand feet high…” Erin stopped on the aisle and did her, “I love you,” hand sign to him they did daily to each other. Daniel’s faced filled with emotion as Erin made her way to him. When it came time for vows, he had to turn away from the crowd. Erin hugged him as he read. They also exchanged vows for their children. Daniel gave his daughter a necklace. Together as a family, they created art. Four colors came together to form a masterpiece. They exchanged rings and kissed and Addie rang a bell. Their family and friends circled them for a group picture.

A top a hillside, Erin and Daniel had begun their forever.
