Los Angeles Engagement Photography/Disney Concert Hall/ Ruben loves Evelyn

It was Halloween, and Ruben was not wearing a costume. His true self and his heart were exposed. He was staring at a tall and pretty girl dressed as a French Maid and falling in love. Evelyn thought he was cute. When it’s Love at First Sight, things move fast. At the end of the night, Ruben had walked her to the car and stolen a kiss. The next day, they would go to a movie and start confirming that they were perfect for each other. She made him smile, he made her laugh.

It was soon obvious, they had no reason to not plan for a future together. Dreams of having children, growing old and traveling the world were theirs. They already had found the one. They shared values and beliefs, they each made the other feel loved and they brought out the best in each other. If they didn’t have something in common, they were willing to try something new for the other.

As unrehearsed as that first stolen kiss, Ruben proposed. There, in the intimacy of their living room, he confessed his love. It was the easiest, “Yes!”

Pasadena Engagement Photos/ La Casita del Arroyo/ Robert loves Veronica

Veronica was 21 and the only young person at church. She felt lonely. Little did she know that God had plans to send her more than just someone her age. Robert started coming to church. When Veronica saw him, she got excited. She learned that her hopes to make him instantly her friend would require a bit more effort than a simple, “Hello.” Robert was so shy. He eventually would warm up and they would become best friends. Those around them saw that their relationship to each other was special. They assumed they were dating, since they started hanging out almost everyday at church before, during and after services.

The realization that they liked each other had found a way into their hearts. It would take tacos and a tickle war, but they would share their first kiss. And it would be the most memorable kiss ever. At that moment, they knew they were meant for each other. That kiss would always be brought up in future conversations, because it was more than a kiss. It was a feeling. A feeling that knowing everything was right.

They shared a sense of humor. They shared laughter. They shared who they truly were with each other. And of course, they shared a faith. After a Wednesday night service, in the place they had met, Robert would ask Veronica to be his forever. The pastor had asked everyone to stay because someone wanted to share something special. Veronica suddenly realized that it was Robert up at the mic. She was even more confused when he asked her to come to the front of the church. There, in front of the congregation, he considered family, Robert told everyone he loved her. He knelt on one knee and proposed. Veronica said, “Yes,” to the man she loved. God had sent her more than a friend. He had sent them both to each other.

Huntington Beach Engagement Photos/ Orange County Wedding Photographer/ Andrew loves Maddie

They were both explorers at Huntington Beach Search and Rescue. Maddie noticed right away his good looks and his confidence. She had no reason to pursue her attraction. She felt he was out of her league, he was 18 and she was an insecure 16 year old and to complicate things even more, dating between the explorers was not allowed.

A month after she turned 18, Andrew asked her out. He obviously had noticed the cute, petite fun loving girl who shared his sense of humor. To her parents’ chagrin, he picked up Maddie on his motorcycle and they took a ride down PCH, stopping at Inspiration Point in New Port Beach. Their night would end with their first kiss. There would never be a reason to kiss anyone else.

If there was ever a question that Andrew was serious about Maddie, it would be in the faith that they would share. He took Catechism Classes, was baptized and converted to the Catholic Faith. Maddie knew she had been blessed with a kind, respectful, hardworking caring man.

Andrew knew that Maddie was girl he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. So in Laguna Beach, at a park overlooking the valley, he knelt down and asked Maddie to be his forever. Maddie cried and of course said, “Yes,” to the man she loved.

Mount Baldy Engagement Photos|Inland Empire Wedding Photographer|Andrew and Randi

He saw the Batman tattoo and suddenly Andrew had something else to talk to Randi about other than work. Until that moment, he had kept her late a few times. His excuse had been work related, but it also gave him a chance to talk to the pretty girl from the shift before his. Randi was far from happy clocking out late. She had kids that she needed to pick up from preschool. Randi even called him, “The Nerdy Guy at Work.” Andrew was far from the guy that she would ever date, but she had already looked for love in the wrong places, so she took a chance. It turned out that while she had a superhero symbol tattooed on her wrist, soon she would have a real superhero in her heart. Andrew was the guy that would encourage her to return to college. He loved her kids as his own. Their conversations were filled with jokes, laughter and sarcasm. They both had fallen for each other fast and hard. And they were not letting go. On a trip to Hawaii, Andrew proposed. Randi’s daughters were by their side. Randi said, “Yes,” to the man she loved.

Claremont Engagement: Alex loves Ariel

There is a a beautiful place on earth called, “The Bridge between Two Continents.” This stretch of land is in Iceland, where the Eurasian and the North American tectonic plates come together. It is the place where land meets sea.

It is fitting then, that it was here, that two kids who had met in an AP European History class, had become friends and had fallen in love would become engaged.

Their love is the bridge that brings them together. Alex and Ariel compliment each other. Ariel will plan far into the future and Alex will pull her back to enjoy the present. Alex is kind, genuine, understanding and selfless who always wants the best for Ariel. Ariel is everything to Alex.

This of course had to be the spot where Alex asked Ariel to be his wife. It is this place where Ariel said yes to forever.
